These testimonials reflect the heartfelt stories of recovery, comfort, and exceptional care provided at Vierra Falls Church.
Vierra Falls Church is an excellent facility for rehab and long-term nursing home care. It’s been over a month now since my family member was admitted to Vierra for his long-term care soon after neck surgery. I live nearby and I visit him a couple of times a week. The facility is clean and well-maintained. The receptionist is nice and friendly. A shout-out to Brit and Leidi from the Admission office for all the administrative work, who had helped make the admission process a breeze. The nursing staff and the support staff are kind, caring, and responsive. Everyone is professional and ready to help. Thank you for all you do!
Looking for a facility to bring your family? Don’t look too far. Vierra Falls Church is a clean facility, family-oriented, and has great staff and exceptional therapy!
My dad was first admitted to Vierra in November, and we were so impressed with the care he received that when he needed rehab again we came straight back. Vierra is a wonderful place. The level of care, attention, and compassion from the staff truly stood out. They made sure my dad was always comfortable and treated us like family.
The physical therapy team was incredible. They helped my dad regain strength in both his arms and legs. They’re not miracle workers but honestly, they come pretty close. Watching my father build his strength back was a blessing, and it’s all thanks to their patience and dedication.
The nurses and CNAs were consistently kind, attentive, and respectful. The facility is clean, the food is healthy and enjoyable, and the entire atmosphere is warm and supportive.
If you’re coming to Vierra for rehab, my advice is simple: take it slow and easy. Trust the process. You’re in good hands here.
My father was admitted to Vierra Falls Church to recover from COVID and pneumonia and to receive physical therapy. From the start, the care was exceptional.
The nurses were incredibly kind and attentive, and the physical therapy team made a huge difference in my dad’s recovery. A special thank you to Nurse Mohammed and CNA Abebash, both were outstanding in their care and compassion. With their support, and the dedication of the therapy staff, my father made real progress. One of the biggest improvements we saw was his ability to walk from his room to the therapy area and back, something he hadn’t been able to do before. The therapists were kind, patient, and very encouraging, and Sare, the nurse practitioner, was also extremely helpful.
If you or a loved one ever need a facility for rehabilitation, I highly recommend Vierra Falls Church. My advice: follow everything they ask you to do, it truly works.
When I first arrived at Vierra Falls Church, I was unable to walk and had never used a walker before. Thanks to the incredible therapy team, that quickly changed. I enjoyed working with the therapy machines, and over time, I felt so much stronger.
I’m now able to walk long distances with a walker something I never imagined when I came in. The staff here work as a united, excellent team, and I truly believe Vierra has the best therapy team around. They not only helped me physically, but also gave me the confidence to keep going.
My advice: go beyond your limits and listen to the guidance the therapy team gives you. It makes all the difference.
Vierra changed my life and I’m incredibly grateful! After losing my ability to walk due to radiation, I came to Vierra Falls Church Rehabilitation feeling uncertain and overwhelmed. From the very beginning, the aides and nurses treated me with kindness and compassion. Their support made all the difference in my healing journey.
The physical therapy team has been nothing short of amazing. With their encouragement, guidance, and expertise, I was able to rebuild my strength both physically and emotionally. For the first time in a
long time, I took my first steps again, and it was because of them. They’ve given me hope, confidence, and the determination to keep moving forward.
If you’re looking for a facility that truly feels like a home away from home where teamwork, care, and encouragement are at the heart of everything they do, I wholeheartedly recommend Vierra Falls Church.
I was admitted from Virginia Hospital Center while recovering from pneumonia, and my experience has been nothing but positive. The food is great, the staff are kind and helpful, and the therapy is outstanding.
Thanks to the wonderful therapy team, I’ve regained my strength and now confidently use a walker. Just yesterday, I walked down the hall by myself for the first time! The therapists are patient, encouraging, and truly supportive.
My advice to anyone entering rehab: be patient, do your best, trust your therapists, and follow their guidance. Recovery may take time, but it’s absolutely worth it in the end. I highly recommend Vierra Falls Church!
After receiving a heart transplant at Inova Fairfax Hospital, I came to Vierra Falls Church Rehab to continue my recovery. The nurses and aides have been incredibly friendly, supportive, and encouraging every step of the way.
With daily activities and a dedicated therapy team, I’ve regained strength and confidence. The therapists motivate me to improve each day and have created a welcoming environment that pushes me to be my best.
Now, one-year post-transplant, I’m looking forward to rejoining and spending time with my family thanks in large part to the care and support I’ve received here.
My mom spent time here receiving physical therapy after a fall that resulted in a broken arm and dislocated shoulder. The physical therapy staff was excellent… especially Joyce and Sandy, who worked so well with my mom’s fear of falling to help her get up and moving again. The social work staff was also fantastic, particularly Emil Grant, who readily answered all of my questions in a calm and professional manner.
My relative has been at Vierra Falls Church under their care for about a month now. I visit about twice a week. I am very satisfied with my choice. The facility is very clean, well-maintained, the nurses and other staff are very active and compassionate, they have a lot of daily activities for residents, and the facility doesn’t have the foul odor that you find in other facilities/nursing homes. I highly recommend them.
Renovated facility! It’s close to Arlington, McLean and Falls Church.
Very nice and patient staff.
The staff is wonderful. They are very helpful, patient and caring.
Hard to imagine a better place.
This review is long overdue.
My mom was admitted to Vierra about four months ago, and it has truly become her home away from home. She is currently receiving long-term care here, and our experience has been nothing short of exceptional.
What truly makes a place like Vierra stand out is its incredible staff. From top to bottom, every team member is hardworking, committed, and deeply compassionate. The nursing aides, in particular, are empathetic and attentive. One evening, when my mom was very ill, a nursing aide sat by her side, held her hand, and comforted her with reassuring words. It meant the world to us.
The staff responds promptly when assistance is needed and treats each patient with genuine care and respect. This is the third nursing home my mom has been in, and the difference at Vierra is remarkable.
The environment is cheerful and welcoming. There’s a large activity room where they regularly organize fun and engaging programs. I especially appreciate how the staff takes the time to personally bring residents from their rooms so they can participate. The activity director is absolutely wonderful—warm, energetic, and full of heart.
The physical therapy team has been nothing short of miracle workers. Thanks to their patience and encouragement, my bed bound mom is now able to walk a little and transition from bed to wheelchair with little support. Their dedication has had a transformative impact on her recovery. However, they suddenly stopped her therapy going from 5 days a week to none which I don’t think was a great idea. I brought it up with the PT director who did not change her decision saying my mom had reached her maximum potential and they could reevaluate later and start therapy again if needed.
The administrative staff is wonderful. When I had concerns and contacted the general manager, he took the time to meet with me personally and addressed everything thoroughly and professionally. The admissions director is very professional and cheerful and continues to stop by to say hello to my mom.
The facility, even though old, is clean and well kept.
If you are looking for a loving, supportive, and well-managed place for your loved one, I wholeheartedly recommend Vierra. You will not be disappointed.
My mom does not like the food here. It does not have any flavors or seasoning. We visit her every day and take home cooked food for her.
If you need to reach the nursing home after hours, phone is not always answered.
Overall care is good. They have a Nurse Practioner who sits in the facility which is very useful. Thank you, Vierra, for the incredible care you provide.
5 out of 5. Exceptional care was provided for my family member. I highly recommended this facility.
Working in the health profession for over 35 years I understand that patient health and rehab can be a frustrating experience for patients and their families. My experience at Vierra Falls Church was exceptional. The concern and care for my family member went above and beyond what I would expect. From the initial intake, which was very complicated due to the amount of support that was needed, to the nurses, technicians and administrators – I have to give this facility an A. Special thank you to Kristin Murphy who spent hours, and went out of her way to help us get a bed!! Thank you all at Vierra!!!
This is a beautiful facility! The customer service is outstanding—every staff member is kind, attentive, and truly care about the well-being of residents. The nursing care is compassionate with skilled professionals who go above and beyond every day.
A beautiful facility in a great location. Everyone there is so helpful and cares a great deal about the residents. They make it feel like home!
This facility is one of the best in Virginia and staff members are very professional and helpful. I would especially like to mention Brit from Admissions who from admission until discharge of my aunt, she was very responsive and resourceful. Thanks again.
My family member has been at Vierra in long term care about a month now. I visit 2 or 3 times per week. Every time I visit, the facility is clean, bright and has no bad odor. The receptionist is always friendly and the staff kind. Any concern is promptly resolved. I even requested a breakfast item my family member craves and it was on his breakfast tray every morning within a few days. The general manager, Colin, is excellent. Very hands on and seems to look at his job as a calling. The admissions director is warm and friendly and continues to check on our family member long after he arrived. Alan, the maintenance manager is superb too. He goes beyond his job description by being a friendly and helpful face throughout the building. Oh and the daily activities are wonderful and truly engaging to all patients.
It is not easy having your family member in a skilled nursing facility, but we are thankful there is a place like Vierra.
Vierra Falls Church is an excellent rehab center. Nursing care was attentive and compassionate, the therapy team was skilled and encouraging, and all were truly committed to patient progress. My husband made real gains thanks to their expertise and support. The facility is clean, filled with natural light, and includes lovely outdoor courtyards. It is welcoming and well-run. I am grateful for the support and warmly recommend Vierra to anyone needing rehabilitation.
Beautiful facility with staff dedicated to patient satisfaction and care!!!!
I really appreciated the staff here at Vierra Falls Church. My mom was here after a hip fracture. The Social Worker Lauren, Nurse Muhammed was outstanding. The PT staff Archie, Ian, Doris, and Paul were the best in helping my mom’s recovery. Her needs were met and she was treated with the up most respect. The place is clean. Thank you again Vierra staff – we appreciate you.
My dad stayed at Vierra for rehab following a motor vehicle accident. The staff were all kind and welcoming. Debbie at the front desk was exceptional! She was friendly and knew the patients and their visitors well. Colin, the administrator, was remarkable as well. He went above and beyond to ensure that my dad had a great experience during his stay there. I was able to see some of the activities that went on during the day for residents and it always appeared that everyone was enjoying them and happy! The facility is very clean.
The staff was friendly and professional. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The building was clean and did not smell like anti-septic. Resident TV’s were tuned to the Olympics.
Vierra continues to impress with their warmth, expertise and ability to get the job done. Every day at Vierra, I see and am greeted warmly by housekeeping, maintenance, receptionists, activities, nurses and CNAs. Almost the whole of Vierra is PRESENT and ENGAGED . . .
It is my top priority that my Mom receives the best care. Vierra has Mom’s needs well in hand. MY needs are also being cared for. The Vierra staff have taken the time to know me. They engage me as a Partner in my Mom’s care and as a Friend. It’s as nice to visit with the staff as it is to visit with Mom. . . .
From the professional & very helpful reception counter staff to each staff I encountered – it was an awesome experience!
Vierra Falls Church is an outstanding facility, they provide exceptional care. I love when I visit in the evening and the big dining room has all the chandeliers lit. It always looks so elegant.
Very good for PT and OT. My husband enjoys his workouts. Staff is very nice and helpful.
Visited a dear and close family member for an hour or so. I was impressed by the organization, clean and bright environment, and friendly staff. As a first-time visitor, I thought that the facility may improve with more directional signs as to the entrance door, exit door after hours, and the like.
Excellent physical therapy! Helpful nursing and social work staff.
This is a beautiful facility and staff are wonderful! They take excellent care of the residents and treat them like family.
Great experience visiting my grandmother here. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice building and location too. Thank you.
